You must complete the following procedures
in order to use the Mini Bluetooth hands
free:
Charge the Mini Bluetooth hands free
with the charger provided; Pair the
Mini Bluetooth hands free with the Bluetooth
device of your choice.
3.1. Charging the Mini Bluetooth
hands free
The Mini Bluetooth hands free contains
a built in Lithium battery, it is suggested
that you recharge the battery before
use. You can recharge the Mini Bluetooth
hands free by completing the following
3.1.1 Connect the charger to the power
source then connect the mini USB connector
to the mini USB socket of the Mini Bluetooth
hands free to commerce charging (approximately
3 hours) . remove the charger once charging
is complete.
* When charginig if the Mini Bluetooth
hands free is turned off, the indicator
lights will emit a continous red light.
the red light will fade and turn off
once charging has finished.
3.2. Pairing the Mini Bluetooth
hands free with Ericsson T68.
The Mini Bluetooth hands free may initiate
pairing automatically when it is turned
on for the first time, therefore please
ensure that the phone is within 1 meter
of the Mini Bluetootg hands free. Press
and hold the Call control button until
indicator one and two start flash green
and red lights.Turn on the mobile phone
and in the main menu select 'Connect',
'Bluetooth' and 'Search for new device',
the mobile phone will automatically
begin the search for Bluetooth devices.
Once detected the Mini Bluetooth hands
free will appear on the screen of your
mobile phone and you will be prompted
to enter a pairing code, enter the code
1234 and click 'Yes' to confirm. tne
indicator lights will now display series
of slow flashing green lights which
indicates that pairing is successfulm,save
the changes and exit. You may now use
the Bluetooth hands free. The Mini Bluetooth
hand s free can be paired with most
mobile phones on the market.
3.3 Wearing the Mini Bluetooth
hands free
As illustrated in image 3.1 hook the
hands free around your ear and the insert
the speaker section of the Mini Bluetooth
hands free into your ear like a normal
ear phone. The ear hook can be removed
by pulling the ear hook downwards and
putback on by pushing it back up in
to the slot, allowing you to use the
hands free on both ears.
3.4 Using the Mini Bluetooth
hands free
* Please note: The Mini Blue
tooth hands free can only be operate
with the mobile phone if the mobile
phone's Bluetooth services are enabled
and that the range between the phone
and the range between the phone and
the hands free is within 10 meters.
When the pairing of the hands free and
mobile phone is complete you can use
the hands free to answer incoming calls
and make outgoing calls.
3.4.1 Answering a phone call
To answer a incoming call with the Mini
Bluetooth hands free press the Call
button once you hear the ring tone from
the hands free..
3.4.2 Rejucting a phone call
To reject an incoming call with the
Mibi Bluetooth hands free press and
hold the Call control button for 2 to
3 seconds once your the ring tone from
the hands free, you will hear a warning
sound indicating that the call has been
rejected.
3.4.3 Using voice control
You can also voice control to make out
going calls, redial, answer, reject
calls etc, these features will need
to be supported by your mobile phone
and for instructions please refer to
the user manual of your mobile phone
3.4.4 Volume adjustment
During a call you may adjust the volume
of the call by pressing the increase
volume button and decrease volume button.
3.4.5 Resetting the Mini Bluetooth
hands free
To reset the Mini Bluetooth hands free
press and hold the Call control button
for a maximum of 10 second, the hands
free will emit a series of flashing
red light which will indicate that the
hands free is now off and has been reset..
* This operation will remove all previous
pairing on the Mini Bluetooth hands
free and will reset it to its default
setting
3.4.6. Turning off the Mini
Bluetooth hands free
Press and hold on to the Call control
button until you hear 2 beeps or see
the flashing red indicator lights, this
will indicate that the Mini Bluetooth
hands free is now off.
4. Troubleshooting
4.1 Audio signal is not transmitted
between the Mini Bluetooth hadsfree
and the mobile phone:
Ensure that pairing is successful.
The Mini Bluetooth hands free is within
range of the mobile phone. Ensure that
there are no large obstacles blocking
the signal.If the mobile phone signal
is weak, reposition the mobile phone
in an area with stronger signal.
4.2 The Mini Bluetooth handsfree is
emitting a flashing red light;
This indicates that the battery is low
and talking time and standby time of
the hands free is limited, please recharge
the hands free.
4.3 There is no indicator light when
charging the Mini Bluetooth handsfree:
This indicates that the battery of the
Mini Bluetoothe hands free is empty
or has not been used in a long time,
after charging for approximately 30
minutes the light will return. However
please also ensure that the charger
cable is plugged in correctly and securely.
4.4 The Mini Blootooth hands free turn
off by itself:
The hands free are low on power and
the indicator lights will emit a flashing
red light and the speaker will emit
a warning sound before turning off.
Please recharge the hands free.
* In enviornments of extremely hot temperatures,
the Mini Bluetooth hands free may not
operate properly: Please place the hands
free in room temperature and allow it
to cool for a period of time before
turning the Mini Bluetooth hands free
back on.
4.5 Echo is heard during calls
Re adjust the volume levels for optimum
sound quality.
4.6 Noise is heard during calls
During a call the Mibi Bluetooth hands
free cannot be away from the mobile
phone for more than 10 meters, for optimum
performance the recommemded distance
is between 1 to 7 meters. if there is
noise during a call please adjust the
distance between the mobile phone and
the Bluetooth hands free.
